The device boasts a 6th Gen Intel Core processor and up to a 9 hour battery life. The Surface Pen is easy to write with high precision and can replace pen and paper in the classroom. The Surface Pro 4 was released in September 2015 and has quickly proliferated into classrooms due to its portability and capability to run full desktop software.
HP Chromebook G4
The HP Chromebook G4 combines processing power with affordability. With an 11.6” display and an Intel Celeron processor, the device is portable and effectively manages battery power. The device boasts enhanced visual connections with an optional IPS panel, and Chrome OS creates an easy to manage platform with automatic software updates and virus protection. At an affordable price point, it’s no wonder that the HP Chromebook is a popular choice for K-12 deployments nationwide.
Lenovo N21 Chromebook
Another very popular 11.6” Chromebook, the Lenovo N21 Chromebook is built with durability in mind for the classroom environment. It is drop resistant from up to 2.3 feet, has reinforced ports that prevent objects from getting stuck, and has a water resistant keyboard to prevent liquid damage to the device. With an Intel Celeron Dual Core processor and up to 9.5 hours of battery life, the Lenovo N21 Chromebook is designed to work all day in the classroom.
Acer Chromebook
The Acer Chromebook comes in two display sizes, 11.6” and 13.3”, and has enough power to last all day, or 13 hours, on a single charge. With a full HD display and wireless speeds that are up to three times faster than previous generations, the Acer Chromebook creates a seamless computing experience. It also has a touch screen that allows you to surf and edit with the touch of a finger.
Dell Chromebook 11
The Dell Chromebook 11 is designed for the digital classroom, with features like a sealed keyboard for spill protection, rubberized LCD and base trim designed to hold up in backpacks, and a MilSpec (Military Standard) rating for durability, pressure, temperature, humidity, shock, and vibration. It features a 180-degree hinge, allowing the screen to lay flat and an interactive LED light on the back of the display so the teacher can see if the students have questions or even conduct classroom polls. The Dell Chromebook boots up in less than 8 seconds and has a 10 hour battery life.
