I love it. This is my second Brenthaven bag. I purchased my last one about 7 or 8 years ago and it still good but I was looking for a change.

Absolutely my perfect companion bag. As a student, I used to bring a couple of books, my ipad, some papers, 1 magazine, a bottle of water and ocassionaly some snacks and it all fits in here with no problem.

It's well-padded, my main concern about a laptop bag. Most importantly, I think, is that it's thickly padded at the bottom, because that's what usually comes in contact with a hard surface. It's attractive, not gorgeous, although the striped lining is a nice touch. It's not as stylish as most of the bags marketed to women. I tried in vain to find a pretty bag that also offered good protection. I don't know why companies don't bother making attractive bags for women that are also practical. It's not cheap, but I need a bag that will last, and I'm more concerned about protecting my laptop than buying a cheaper bag that will fall apart in a year. The fabric is sturdy, and probably won't tear easily. Its not huge, but there is enough room for pens, a few files, chargers, and my phone. It's a good fit for my 13" $1,300 MacBook Pro. I was afraid that the bag would be too big, but the thick padding protects it nicely. I think it may be a little snug for a 15" laptop, but I'm not sure, I don't have one to try. All in all, a great buy.
